IL DISCO

E’ un disco dal vivo, registrato voce e chitarra cantato e suonato in presa diretta, un po come si faceva un tempo, poi arrangiato con cori, controcanti e pochi ma essenziali strumenti, piccoli suoni e frasi di accom- pagnamento al piano e synt, mani, battiti sul petto, di piede, parti di percussioni, bacchette, cembali, rullo e qualche colpo di cassa per incalzare. Vuole essere un disco artigianale, campestre, straricco di imperfezioni incastrate tra loro a fare la canzone mantenendola nella sua origine.

Un disco per me urgente, che come per molti mi son sentito chiuso in trappola fra le quattro mura di casa , senza sapere se avessi avuto o no un ‘altro giorno in più di vita a disposizione per poterlo realizzare

E’ un figlio coraggioso dato alla luce nella quasi più totale oscurità per il mondo intero.

Ogni brano è un evocazione, una preghiera , un dono che rivolgo al cuore, al cielo e ora a chi lo ascolterà, così come s(u)ono nel bene e nel male.

ETICHETTA E DISTRIBUZIONE

Nel tardo 2020 entro in contatto con Aldo Coppola dell’etichetta discografica Radici Music Records , grazie a un amico cantautore che aveva pubblicato il suo disco per loro e di cui un brano era stato inserito da me nella neonata iniziativa della playlist dei Cantautori made in Sardegna. Da li un messaggiare veloce in chat e l’invito a risentirci per una telefonata, cosi è stato e abbiamo avuto uno scambio di vedute sull’andamento della musica d’autore e il modo attuale di promuoverla, insomma una chiacchierata amichevole e interessante.

In me maturava e emergeva sempre di più la volontà di cercare un’etichetta che mi accogliesse come autore e che accompagnasse la nuova pubblicazione dei brani. E in effetti già il nome “Radici” mi faceva ben pensare e la voce calda e piacevole di Aldo aveva fatto il resto così mi sono deciso di condividergli la mia proposta di ascolto con uno dei primi brani allora appena masterizzati “ Come Miele” .

THE DISC

It is a live record, recorded voice and guitar sung and played live, a bit like it used to be, then arranged with choirs, counter-songs and a few but essential instruments, small sounds and accompanying phrases on the piano and synt , hands, beats on the chest, foot, parts of percussion, drumsticks, cymbals, roll and a few kick drum hits. It wants to be an artisanal, rural record, full of imperfections wedged together to make the song while keeping it in its origin.

An urgent record for me, which as for many I felt trapped within the four walls of my home, without knowing whether or not I had another day more of life available to make it happen

He is a brave son given birth in almost total darkness for the whole world.

Each piece is an evocation, a prayer, a gift that I address to the heart, to the sky and now to those who will listen to it, as well as s (u) ono for better or for worse.

LABEL AND DISTRIBUTION

In late 2020 I get in touch with Aldo Coppola of the Radici Music Records label, thanks to a songwriter friend who had released his album for them and of which a song had been inserted by me in the newborn initiative of the playlist of the Cantautori made in Sardinia. . From there a quick chat message and an invitation to hear from us for a phone call, so it was and we had an exchange of views on the progress of author's music and the current way of promoting it, in short, a friendly and interesting chat.

The desire to look for a label that would welcome me as an author and accompany the new publication of the songs matured and emerged more and more in me. And in fact the name "Radici" made me think well and Aldo's warm and pleasant voice had done the rest so I decided to share my listening proposal with one of the first songs just mastered at the time "Come Miele".
